Our chartering team consists of experienced maritime professionals coming from ship owner and commodity trading house backgrounds. We maintain close direct relationships with major commodity exporters and traders as well as reputable operators. Our target is to establish long term relationships with our partners and clients; to be a professional and commercially minded counterparty, offering competitive, reliable and efficient services, while maximizing the vessel’s utilization and earnings. Market risk and counterparty risk exposure is actively managed in accordance with the company’s strategy.
Operations
Post-fixing operations management is an integral part of all charter contracts. Continuous communication with all stakeholders (shipboard crew, charterers, shippers, receivers, agents etc.), ensures uninterrupted, safe and efficient vessel service is provided, while claims and disputes are dealt with proactively and efficiently.
Our company’s operations team is dedicated to continuously monitoring the performance and daily activities of all managed vessels, ensuring prompt attention is given to all contractual, regulatory, and maintenance requirements. Operational safety, efficiency, and crew welfare are our guiding principles in our endeavour for continuous improvement.
Technical, Crewing & Safety Management
Our technical managers and superintendents regularly attend all managed vessels, continuously monitoring their technical condition, adherence to planned maintenance procedures, and compliance with all statutory rules and regulations.
The company’s established pool of skilled seafarers is a key strength and our competitive advantage. Comprehensive pre-embarkation training is provided, while the abilities of our seagoing personnel are enriched and continuously improved through on-board training, assessment and career development.
Safety at sea is a guiding principle; our company’s safety officers closely cooperate with all internal and external stakeholders to ensure any incidents and deficiencies are properly tracked and rectified, while training for future improvement and prevention is provided.
